Full Job Description Job Summary:
The Switchboard Engineer I is responsible for Designing Low Voltage Switchboards and Panelboards. This role requires great attention to detail with a preference for self-starting mentality. All products must be designed using applicable safety standards & regulations (National Electric Code, Underwriters, Laboratories, etc.)
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Design 3D sheet metal parts with flat patterns Complete 3D Assemblies (150+ Item BOM) Create wiring diagrams using PLCs, breaker accessories, relays, contractors, power supplies, etc. Create and understand 2D Front View, One-Line/Single-Line and Layout drawings using CAD Software Ensure clear communication between Engineering, Manufacturing and other key stakeholders. Work in a team environment to analyze requirements from clients and develop design solutions Ensure clear communication with suppliers/vendors on an as-needed basis Qualifications /
Experience:
Bachelors of Science degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or similar 0 - 2 years of professional experience (Electro-Mechanical industry preferred) Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD software (Autodesk Suite preferred) Proficient with
Microsoft Office Products Excellent Oral & Written Communication Skills Preferred Qualifications:
