Job Description

$19 - $21 Summary The primary function of the PBX Operator/Guest Service Agent is to assist the hotel guests, and attend to their needs while utilizing the highest possible level of service; thus, ensuring we are providing a welcoming andaccommodating environment. As PBX Operator, you will be responsible for answering telephone inquiries, and will need to provide updated and accurate information in a courteous and timely manner. The guests should hear the "smile in your voice." Qualifications To perform the job successfully, an individual must beable to adhere to each of the essential duties satisfactorily. The requirementslisted below are representative of the knowledge, skill and ability necessaryto do so. Reasonable accommodations may be made to ensure individuals withdisabilities are able to perform the essential functions. EssentialDuties and Responsibilities Knowledgeable in PEP PMS System. Ensure that guests' needs and requests are completed in a timely manner. Ensure to follow through on all issues and discrepancies as pertaining to GuestServices. Be aware of tone and composure when addressing guests and other Associates. Ensure that guests' names are used throughout your interaction with them. Complete daily shift checklist. Complete and print all required daily reports, records and logs as necessary. Answer and transfer calls in accordance with hotel standards, send and receive faxes. Restock and organize all work areas as necessary. Verify daily rate and availability. Maintain knowledge of all hotel functions and services. Operates witchboard with precision. Ensure all calls are answered within 3 rings. Log and inform guests of incoming packages. Log and follow up on wake up calls. Ensure that all wake up calls are processed through the call accounting computer. Attend all mandatory meetings and hotel functions. Comply with all company standards and policies, as established in the employee handbook Other duties as required. (
