Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
Call Management:
Operate the PBX system to handle all incoming and outgoing calls, directing them to the appropriate departments or guests efficiently.
Guest Assistance:
Provide exceptional service to guests by answering inquiries, taking messages, and relaying information promptly and accurately.
Communication Support:
Assist in internal communications by connecting staff members and departments, ensuring smooth operations throughout the camp.
Message Handling:
Accurately take and relay messages for guests and staff, ensuring that all communications are documented and delivered in a timely manner.
Emergency Response:
Be knowledgeable about emergency procedures and protocols, including handling emergency calls and alerting the appropriate personnel when necessary.
Administrative Tasks:
Perform administrative duties as needed, including maintaining logs of calls, tracking guest requests, and updating contact information.
Guest Services Coordination:
Collaborate with front desk staff and other departments to address guest requests and concerns, ensuring a seamless experience.
Problem-Solving:
Handle guest complaints and inquiries with professionalism and sensitivity, escalating issues to management when necessary. High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality or communications is a plus. Previous experience as a PBX Operator, receptionist, or in a customer service role, preferably within the hospitality industry. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanor. Strong multitasking abilities and the capacity to work effectively under pressure. Proficient in operating a PBX system and other office equipment; familiarity with hotel management software is a plus. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
