Job Description

PBX Operator Job Summary We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Temporary Bilingual PBX Operator to support a fast-paced hospital environment. This role is responsible for managing high-volume inbound and outbound calls, assisting patients, visitors, and hospital staff, and responding appropriately to urgent and emergency situations. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
PBX Operator Required Experience:
Two (2) years PBX or comparable (call center and/or high-volume telephone management) experience required.
PBX Operator Required Education and Training:
High School graduate or GED equivalent.
PBX Operator Required Skills:
Must be fluent in Spanish/English Highly effective oral communication skills, ability to speak English clearly. Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency situations. Knowledge of or ability to learn operation of PBX Communication System. Bilingual English/Spanish. Knowledge or experience with Desktop Software such as Word, Excel. Some knowledge of Medical Terminology preferred.
Location:
Central El Paso Payrate:
$14-15 (based on experience)
Rotating Schedule:
Morning:
7 a.m.•3 p.m.; 8 a.m.•4 p.m.
Evening:
2 p.m.•10 p.m.
