Job Description

Job Summary Salary equal with experience Independently owned Title Company in El Dorado, Arkansas has an opening for a detailed person to search county records for real estate transactions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in research, particularly within the realms of real estate and title processing. As a Title Searcher, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of title searches, which are essential for real estate transactions. Training can be provided through our offices. The candidate must be able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Plenty of room for growth and opportunity.
Responsibilities will include:
Examine lot books, geographic and general indices, and assessor's rolls to compile lists of transactions. Prepare detailed reports summarizing findings of mortgages, contracts, and other instruments on specific property. Ensure that the title to a property in question has no restrictions that may prevent or hinder its sale or use. Examine deeds, deeds of trust, liens, judgments, easements, and plats/maps to figure out ownership, encumbrances, and to verify legal descriptions of property. Maintain correct records of all research conducted and ensure documentation is properly filed for future reference.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in research preferred. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Basic math, typing, and computer skills. Excellent people skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey information to clients and team members. Organization skills with the ability to work independently in a neat, orderly manner.
