Ensures all necessary procedures for equipment are used in accordance with departmental safety policies. This position is physically demanding and will require a great deal of lifting, stretching, walking and bending. This position is distinguished by the lead duties which include but are not limited to providing guidance and support to Environmental Services associates in the role of EVS Worker I, Senior Custodian, Storekeeper and Building Maintenance Worker. In the lead role the EVS Worker 2 manages the project list, co-facilities beginning of shift huddles and rounding with supervisors to ensure all necessary procedures for equipment are used in accordance with departmental safety policies.

Experience in floor care equipment, materials, procedures and best practices. Customer service experience. Skills to organize and prioritize workload to complete work effectively. Verbal and written communication skills to read, write and follow oral and written instructions in English. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of floor care equipment, materials, procedures and best practices. Knowledge of and skills to operate power machines such as floorcare equipment and trash compactor. Knowledge of and skills to operate UCDH vehicles. Skills to use mobile devices, voceras and other communication devices. Skills to use computers, navigate email and other necessary UC programs.
