Title Clerk Pritchard Companies | Clear Lake, IA (Onsite) About the Role We are seeking a detail‑oriented and organized Title Clerk to support our dealership operations in Clear Lake, Iowa . This is a fully onsite role responsible for managing all aspects of vehicle title processing, registration, and documentation , ensuring accuracy and compliance with state regulations. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys working with systems and data, and takes pride in delivering a smooth and efficient experience for customers and internal teams. What You'll Do Title & Registration Processing Prepare and process vehicle title and tax documentation accurately and on time Submit paperwork to the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) Process out‑of‑state titles and registrations Apply for duplicate titles as needed Review all documentation for completeness and accuracy Tracking & Documentation Maintain organized files and accurate records for all title work Monitor and track outstanding titles to ensure timely receipt Follow up on missing titles and resolve discrepancies Support audits by maintaining clean and accurate documentation Systems & Data Management Manage data entry and tracking within internal systems (e.g., Lightyear or similar) Coordinate with external vendors and customer systems as needed Customer & Vendor Communication Respond to customer and vendor questions related to titles and registration Provide timely updates and clear communication on status and requirements Support a positive customer experience through efficient processing Additional Support Provide general administrative support to the team as needed Assist with process improvements and workflow efficiencies What We're Looking For Required Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment Strong written and verbal communication skills Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Preferred Experience with automotive title, tax, and licensing processes Knowledge of DMV requirements and regulations Experience with dealership systems (e.g., Lightyear or similar) Customer service or administrative experience Equal Employment Opportunity Pritchard Companies is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
