Toyota of El Cajon is currently seeking an experienced Contract Clerk to join our team. This position will be responsible for processing car deals and handling the legal documents.

Paid Vacation Major Essential Duties:
Processes and enters all New and/or used retail deals 300+ depending on store's volume with precise accuracy Must have working knowledge of California retail and basic DMV regulations to sufficiently screen deal files for missing documents, etc. Issue refund checks, track and deposit customer checks as needed Payoff trade in loans if needed, set up equity checks Keep accounting schedules for Contracts in Transit and Vehicle receivables and New and Used Inventory current and accurate Perform month end tasks as assigned Consistently responds to customer inquiries and requests in a professional manner within company timelines Communicate to department managers needed documents, missing items, following up with supervisors as needed Performs administrative duties in the office such as data entry, word processing, filing, copying Working knowledge of accounting Must maintain a positive and professional demeanor. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of DMV and retail/wholesale deal documentation preferred Automotive accounting experience preferred. Excellent customer service attitude and skills. Excellent communication skills.
