In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing title reports, identifying issues, and taking the necessary steps to clear title defects to ensure smooth and timely closings. Key Responsibilities Review title commitments, reports, and supporting documents Identify title defects, liens, encumbrances, and other issues Resolve title issues by coordinating with attorneys, lenders, underwriters, and other parties Prepare curative documents such as affidavits, releases, and corrections Ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines and regulatory requirements Maintain accurate records and track curative progress through closing Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders Qualifications 2+ years of experience in title, escrow, or real estate transactions Strong knowledge of title insurance, title searches, and curative processes Familiarity with common title defects (liens, judgments, probate issues, etc.) Excellent problem-solving and research skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple files and deadlines Proficiency in title software and Microsoft Office Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of state-specific title regulations (nationally) What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience Health, dental, and vision benefits Paid time off and holidays Opportunities for growth and advancement Supportive, team-oriented work environment
