June 2026 Job Scope Processes titles from incoming vehicle purchases. De-titles outgoing vehicles. Dispatch vehicle pickups with company tow trucks and contract drivers. Provides exceptional customer service and direction to customers.
Primary Responsibilities:
Greets and screens customers, vendors and other visitors including staff. Answer incoming calls in a courteous manner. Identifies caller's needs and responds by giving both general and specific information on products and prices. Give directions, respond to questions from customers, vendors, and employees and/or directs calls to appropriate area/person. Organizes titles and fills out proper paperwork to process required by the state of Iowa. Dispatches roll back driver. Enter vehicles VIN numbers into national vehicle database. Assists with vehicle sales and test drives. Back-up to retail sales counter clerks. Enter car production into Carmageddon. Processes payment for parts, handling cash, credit cards, etc. Write checks for materials purchased from customers. Maintain appropriate copies for documentation and backup for filing and to support payments. Goes out into the yard to mark all incoming cars. Maintains a presentable showroom. Perform other related duties or special projects.
Education/Experience :
High school diploma or equivalent required, with 1-3 years of clerical experience. Candidates should have at least intermediate proficiency in Word and Excel, strong communication skills, and the ability to interact with individuals at all levels in a professional and respectful manner. Basic knowledge of ferrous and non-ferrous materials is a plus.
