Overview We are seeking an experienced Title Examiner to join our growing team in Palos Heights. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering accurate, timely, and high-quality title work. You will play a critical role in ensuring clean, insurable title while supporting our commitment to exceptional client service.

In this role, you will meticulously review property records, conduct comprehensive research, and analyze title histories to ensure clear ownership rights. Your expertise will help facilitate smooth property transfers, protect clients' investments, and uphold the highest standards of accuracy and integrity. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your knowledge of real estate law, research techniques, and title processing in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment. Duties Conduct thorough research of public records, deeds, liens, and other legal documents to verify property ownership and history Utilize GIS (Geographic Information Systems) tools to assist in property location verification and boundary analysis Maintain accurate records of all research activities and document findings clearly and efficiently Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries promptly and professionally throughout the title examination process Examine residential and commercial title orders with precision and efficiency Analyze title searches, legal descriptions, and public records Identify and resolve title defects, liens, encumbrances, and other issues Prepare accurate title commitments and reports Work closely with closers, attorneys, lenders, and internal team members Provide guidance and mentorship to junior examiners (if applicable) Ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines and company standards Requirements 5+ years of title examination experience (Illinois required; multi-state a plus) Proven knowledge of real estate law, property records, and title processing procedures Strong research skills with the ability to interpret legal documents and public records accurately Strong knowledge of title insurance practices, policies, and procedures Ability to read and interpret complex legal documents Experience with title software platforms (SoftPro preferred) Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills Strong communication and organizational abilities Ability to manage multiple files and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple cases simultaneously Effective communication skills for interacting with clients, legal professionals, and team members Previous experience working in a law office or title agency is highly desirable Ability to work independently while adhering to strict deadlines and quality standards If you're ready to take your career to the next level and be part of a company that's redefining the title experience, we'd love to hear from you. Pay:
