Full Job Description Overview:

In this role, you will play provide advanced operational support within the DMV function, assisting with day-to-day execution of the department while ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely processing of vehicle titles and registrations across multiple states. This role serves as a business partner within the organization, providing consistency in compliance and customer experience, as well as serving as a key escalation point for complex DMV issues and customer support. This position will own departmental process improvement initiatives and state-specific research and other special projects. This role may lead a subset of DMV clerks depending on experience level. Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities Provide operational support within the DMV department ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely processing of titles and registrations Lead and support state-specific DMV research and other special projects of the department and cross-functionally within the organization Serve as the primary escalation point for complex titling, registration, and compliance issues Process advanced or exception-based title and registration transactions across multiple jurisdictions Ensure compliance with all state-specific DMV requirements, including taxes, fees, and documentation standards Partner with sales, operations, and finance teams to resolve deal issues and facilitate timely deal completion Communicate with state agencies, vendors, and internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and obtain required documentation Identify process gaps and inefficiencies; recommend and implement improvements to enhance accuracy and turnaround time Monitor workload distribution and assist in prioritization to meet deadlines and service expectations Depending on experience level, lead day-to-day activities for a subset of DMV clerks, providing guidance, training, and support

Qualifications:

Qualifications 2-5 years of experience in DMV/title processing, dealership administration, or related field (commercial vehicle experience preferred) Strong multi-state DMV knowledge and ability to navigate complex titling scenarios Demonstrated ability to handle escalations and resolve complex issues Experience supporting or leading others in a team environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to compliance Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills Proficiency in dealership systems and Microsoft Office applications

Pay Range:

$58,000 - $62,000
