  • General Manager Position Purpose__________________________________________________________________________ Ensure all dealership title work, registration paperwork, customer documentation, and administrative functions are completed accurately, professionally, and within required deadlines.
This role exists to provide exceptional internal and external customer service while maintaining compliance with state regulations, supporting dealership operations, and ensuring all documentation is processed efficiently. Core Responsibilities__________________________________________________________________________ Process all vehicle and boat titles accurately and within required deadlines. Prepare and submit title, registration, lien, and transfer paperwork to appropriate agencies. Verify all deal paperwork is complete prior to processing. Communicate with lenders, customers, insurance companies, and state agencies regarding title requirements. Process payoffs and lien releases as needed. Maintain organized title files and dealership records. Ensure all paperwork complies with state and federal regulations. Process temporary permits and registrations when applicable. Monitor title receivables and resolve outstanding title issues promptly. Assist customers with registration, title, and documentation questions. Prepare and process customer paperwork for deliveries. Support accounting functions by organizing deal jackets and submitting completed paperwork. Answer incoming phone calls and direct customers professionally. Assist with reception duties when necessary. Maintain office supplies and administrative records. Assist other departments with documentation and administrative support. Maintain confidentiality of customer and dealership information. Participate in process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy. Performance Expectations __________________________________________________________________________ Process all documentation accurately with minimal errors. Meet all state and dealership deadlines for title processing. Maintain organized and easily accessible filing systems. Demonstrate excellent attention to detail. Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and coworkers. Respond promptly to title issues and documentation requests. Work collaboratively with Sales, Finance, Service, and Accounting departments. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times. Demonstrate initiative by identifying and resolving paperwork issues before they become problems. Represent the dealership with professionalism and exceptional customer service. Success Criteria Process all title work within required legal timeframes. Maintain documentation accuracy. Resolve title discrepancies quickly and efficiently. Complete deal jacket audits with minimal corrections required. Maintain organized files with no overdue documentation. Respond to customer and department requests within one business day. Meet daily, weekly, and monthly KPI and goal tracking. Demonstrate reliability through consistent attendance and punctuality. Maintain compliance with all dealership, state, and federal regulations. Support a positive customer experience through timely and accurate paperwork processing. Contribute to continuous improvement of dealership administrative processes.
