TITLE CLERK
Dealership Administration | Full-Time | In-Person
ABOUT THE ROLE
Pay:
$20 - $24/hr A well-established automotive dealership group in the greater Merrimack Valley is seeking a detail-oriented Title Clerk to join our office team at a new location. This position is responsible for processing all vehicle titles and registrations accurately and efficiently while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. The Title Clerk plays a critical role supporting both the sales and accounting departments by maintaining proper documentation, tracking title status, and ensuring all files are complete and error-free.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Process new and used vehicle titles, registrations, and DMV paperwork Verify title information, lien releases, and ownership documentation Submit and track title and registration transactions through state portals Ensure compliance with state and federal titling regulations Process trade-in payoffs and follow up with lenders for lien releases Coordinate with sales, accounting, and DMV offices to resolve discrepancies Maintain organized and accurate title records Handle dealer trades, wholesale purchases, and out-of-state deliveries Provide administrative support to the office team as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
2+ years of automotive title or registration experience preferred Knowledge of Massachusetts and/or New Hampshire DMV processes strongly preferred Experience with Dealertrack or similar DMS a plus Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Professional, dependable, and customer-focused
OFFICE ASSISTANT
Dealership Administration | Full-Time | In-Person
ABOUT THE ROLE
Pay:
$17 - $21/hr We are also seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Office Assistant to support our dealership's administrative operations. This is a key behind-the-scenes role covering deal finalization, vehicle stocking, title and registration support, and general office administration. The Office Assistant serves as a vital resource across multiple departments, helping ensure smooth, accurate, and timely processing of dealership transactions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Finalize completed sales deals and review documentation for accuracy Stock new and used vehicle inventory into the dealership management system (DMS) Assist with title and registration processing and follow-up Maintain organized vehicle files and deal jackets Verify paperwork prior to submission to accounting Coordinate with sales, finance, and title departments to resolve issues Support dealer trades, wholesale transactions, and out-of-state paperwork Provide general office support including filing, data entry, and correspondence
QUALIFICATIONS
Prior dealership office or automotive administrative experience preferred Familiarity with titles, registrations, or deal processing strongly preferred Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Dealertrack experience a plus Exceptional attention to detail and time management skills Professional, reliable, and team-oriented attitude
