Title Clerk

About The Role:

We are currently seeking a title clerk, ideally with experience in titling vehicles in all 48 states, to join our team. The primary objectives of this position is the timely recording of lien and completion of registration for our out-of-state customers. This will require the ability to keep detailed records of titling progress, maintain a positive experience with our customers through clear and informative communication, obtain additional information and documentation from both our customers and our team, create and maintain positive business relationships with tag agencies and DMVs across the country as well as consistent follow up to assure the company meets the required timeline of lien security. The right individual will have specialized knowledge that will assist them in non-routine or complex circumstances that will require investigation of title-related situations to solve a variety of potential tile problems.

Responsibilities:

Prepares vehicle sales tax and title documents. Checks for accuracy in the title pack and ensures that all information is complete. Obtains additional information as necessary. Processes all vehicles for registration in the state in which they will be titled. Maintains a system to track and verify all out-of-state title work. Compiles and maintains a complete list of all outstanding title work to report the status to management.

Qualifications:

Two to four years of overall title experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. One to Two years of title experience in the continental 48 states. NC Notary Public and/or meets requirements to obtain NC Notary Public. Why Join Us ?
