Primary responsibilities Examine titles from outside Abstractors. Generate and issue Commitments/Reports based on said examination Set up title requirements and exceptions. Make insurance determinations on title requirements and exceptions. Issue Endorsements related to Title Commitments Analyze and Address Chain of Title, Encumbrance, Ownership and Lien issues on title-related matters. Review and Determine Insurability/Recorability of documents related to Real Estate Transactions and the clearance of Title Issues Coordinate Commercial Settlements with various interest holders Summary As a Title Officer/Examiner, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate real estate documentation and title quality. Reporting to the title/escrow supervisor, you will conduct rigorous title processing, research, and chain of title analysis to support reliable settlements. Your strength in real estate law, combined with careful document review and client-focused service, will help minimize risk and facilitate smooth closings. You will collaborate with attorneys, escrow officers, and support staff to uphold precise, compliant title outcomes. Qualifications Strong research and title processing capabilities with attention to accuracy in real estate documentation review Experience in title production, settlement negotiation, and chain of title analysis Familiarity with real estate law concepts and problem solving ability Customer service orientation and ability to collaborate with legal/office teams Background in Commercial Closing Procedures and document review workflows; attention to detail and data integrity
