In this vital role, you will be responsible for all aspects of managing the accurate processing and verification of property titles, and ensuring seamless transactions for our clients. Your expertise will help facilitate smooth real estate closings by conducting thorough research, preparing essential documentation, and maintaining precise records. Knowledge in the TrackerPro title program is a must. Salary will commensurate with experience. Duties Conduct comprehensive research on property titles using various sources, includingBIS, DOB
Now, HPD, public records, and title plants. Review and interpret legal documents related to real estate transactions, such as deeds, mortgages, liens, and easements. Order, prepareand process title reports, commitments, policies, and other necessary documentation to support closing procedures. Verify property ownership details and ensure all title issues are identified and resolved before closing. Collaborate with attorneys, escrow officers, lenders, and clients to gather required information and clarify title discrepancies. Maintain organized records of all title documents, searches, and correspondence for audit purposes. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to inquiries from clients and internal teams regarding title status or documentation. Experience Prior experience working in a real estate law office and/or title agency or real estate is required. Knowledge of the title program TrackerPro is required. Proven research skills with the ability to navigate public records systems is required. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in document preparation and record keeping. Effective communication skills to liaise confidently with clients, legal professionals, and team members. Familiarity with the legal steps involved in real estate transactions ensures smooth processing from start to finish.
