Fast-growing title and settlement company serving VA, MD, and DC. We pride ourselves on accuracy, efficiency, and smooth closings.
Position Overview:
Seeking a detail-oriented Title Processor licensed in VA or MD (both preferred) to manage files from contract to post-closing in a high-volume environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Process title orders for residential and/or commercial transactions Review contracts, title commitments, and lender instructions Coordinate with lenders, agents, attorneys, and clients Order payoffs, surveys, HOA documents, and clear title issues Prepare closing disclosures and settlement statements Record transactions through Simplifile (or similar eRecording platforms) Disburse files accurately and in a timely manner Issue final title policies, including ALTA endorsements Ensure compliance with VA/MD regulations (DC a plus)
Qualifications:
Active VA or MD Title Producer License (both preferred) 2+ years of title processing or closing experience Experience with eRecording (Simplifile preferred) Knowledge of title policy issuance and ALTA endorsements Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to manage multiple files efficiently Experience with SoftPro, Qualia, or RamQuest preferred
