Job Description

Overview Join a dynamic team as a Real Estate Title Company Processor, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of real estate transaction documentation. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work within the real estate industry, handling title searches, legal descriptions, and title record reviews with precision and care. Your expertise will help facilitate smooth property transfers, support legal compliance, and deliver exceptional service to clients and stakeholders. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive title searches by reviewing public records, title records, and legal descriptions to verify property ownership and history. Research easements, rights-of-way, and other encumbrances affecting properties using GIS mapping software and mapping tools. Review real estate documentation including deeds, mortgages, liens, and other legal documents to ensure accuracy and completeness. Apply underwriting guidelines to evaluate title risks and ensure compliance with industry standards during the title review process. Manage real estate closing documentation by coordinating with clients, attorneys, lenders, and escrow officers to facilitate seamless transactions. Maintain detailed records of title searches, research findings, and correspondence using real estate transaction management software. Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams to clarify information, provide updates on processing status, and resolve issues promptly. Experience Proven experience in title processing or related roles within the real estate industry. Strong knowledge of real estate law, legal descriptions, easements, rights-of-way, and public records research techniques. Familiarity with real estate transaction management software and mapping software such as Qualia. Excellent research skills with attention to detail in reviewing complex documents and legal descriptions. Ability to adhere strictly to underwriting guidelines and industry regulations during title review processes. Effective client communication skills combined with a customer service-oriented approach to support smooth transactions. Prior experience working with title search procedures, title review processes, and real estate closing management is highly desirable.
