Job Description

Job Summary:
Mission Chevrolet, a leading car dealership in the El Paso area, is seeking an experienced and highly motivated customer service-oriented individual to join our team as a Titling and Registration associate. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients and fellow team members in the Business Office. This is a full-time, hourly position in the auto industry, with a competitive compensation that is negotiable based on experience , paid biweekly. This is a team role, which requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in titling. A title clerk's responsibilities include but are not limited to: Customer service, Teamwork, Attention to detail, Multitasking, Data entry, Prioritization, and Organization Processing titles Title clerks ensure that all information on vehicle titles is accurate and complete before filing them. They also process and file paperwork for transferring vehicle ownership Maintaining records Title clerks keep accurate records of vehicle purchases and title work. File paperwork appropriately in each deal and file deals away once titling and registration has been completed. Preparing documents Title clerks prepare tax documents, affidavits, Power of Attorneys, payments to title agency and refund checks to customers. They also prepare transfer documents and enter accounting for dealer transfers. You will also interact with other agencies and customers. Calling Lienholders When title has not been received after a few weeks when payoff has been sent, You will need to call and verify that payment was received and title has been sent out. Auctions As a title clerk you will also be responsible for dealing with the auto auctions and filling out paperwork and titles that have been sold at the auction. Customer Service Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries in a prompt and professional manner

Must be able to work M-F 8am-5pm Must be able to work as a team and have communication with teammates and supervisor Must be able to multi-task but be able to ask for help when it's needed Detail-oriented Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency
