Job Description

AUTOMOTIVE TITLE CLERK JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary Providing administrative support regarding motor vehicle registrations and title transfers, processing legal documents, as well as basic clerical activities. Essential Functions Prepare legal documentation needed for the Department of Motor Vehicles Inquire with local and out of county tax office assessors and collectors to verify information and resolve any issue that might arise Verify accuracy of all tax and title documents needed to register new and used vehicles Process all aspects of wholesaling vehicles (in-house procedures, title work, collection of money, etc.) Verify all fees charged by tax offices and compare them to vehicle contracts for discrepancies Assists with any other office projects and tasks as needed Qualifications
  • Extensive knowledge of Texas and New Mexico title processing preferred
  • Must be highly organized
  • Great multi-tasking skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Problem solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (i.e. Word and Excel)
  • Previous experience in a related field is preferred Requirements
  • Must have valid driver's license and proof of car insurance
  • Must be able to pass a drug test and background check
  • Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Able to work Monday - Friday 8am-5pm Contact Information
