We are an established, locally owned business that has proudly served the community for decades as a contracted Washington State Department of Licensing (DOL) sub-agency . We are seeking an experienced Vehicle Licensing Representative to join our team. Previous experience as a vehicle licensing agent, title clerk, registration specialist, or in a related title and registration role is required.ABOUT THE POSITION
This position processes vehicle title, registration, and licensing transactions while providing accurate, efficient, and courteous customer service. Responsibilities include reviewing documentation, processing payments, protecting confidential information, and applying Washington State DOL requirements. Success in this role requires accuracy, reliability, professionalism, accountability, and attention to detail.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Process vehicle title, registration, and licensing transactions Review documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance Apply DOL laws, rules, policies, and procedures Calculate and collect taxes, fees, and other charges Handle payments and confidential information responsibly Enter data accurately and maintain complete records Explain requirements clearly and courteously Identify and resolve potential errors or compliance concerns Follow fraud-prevention, security, and office procedures Manage multiple transactions in a busy, customer-focused environment Work cooperatively with the teamQUALIFICATIONS
Previous experience as a vehicle licensing agent, title clerk, registration specialist, or in a related role Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to interpret and follow regulations and procedures Strong communication and customer-service skills Dependable attendance and punctuality Ability to handle confidential information and monetary transactions Ability to pass a background checkCOMPENSATION & BENEFITS
