Waynesboro, TN Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Admissions & Marketing Director to lead our census development efforts and oversee the admissions process in a skilled nursing facility. This role is ideal for a relationship-driven professional who understands post-acute care, enjoys building strong referral partnerships, and thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee the daily admissions process to ensure timely and appropriate placement of residents Develop and execute marketing and census-building strategies to meet occupancy goals Build and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, physicians, discharge planners, case managers, and community partners Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective residents and families, guiding them through the admission process Coordinate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure smooth transitions and excellent customer service Track, analyze, and report admissions and referral data to leadership Participate in community outreach, events, and networking opportunities to promote the facility Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and facility policies related to admissions and marketing
Qualifications:
Previous experience in admissions, marketing, or business development in a skilled nursing or post-acute setting preferred Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care referral processes Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills Ability to build and maintain professional relationships Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently Proficiency with healthcare systems and data tracking tools preferred Salary/ Wage Range Compensation for the role will depend on several factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and may fall outside of the range shown.
