Job Description
Job Summary An established healthcare organization is seeking a motivated and relationship-focused Admissions Director to lead census development and referral coordination for a skilled nursing facilty. This position plays a critical role in managing facility admissions, building referral partnerships, and ensuring a seamless transition process for residents and families. The ideal candidate is highly organized, customer-service oriented, and experienced in healthcare admissions, case management, marketing, or post-acute care coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and manage all incoming admissions and referral activity Communicate with hospitals, case managers, discharge planners, and healthcare partners Review referral documentation and collaborate with clinical leadership regarding admission appropriateness Facilitate smooth resident transitions into the facility Maintain accurate admissions records, census tracking, and reporting Conduct tours for prospective residents and families Support facility census growth initiatives and relationship-building efforts within the community Work closely with clinical and operational leadership to support customer satisfaction and retention Ensure admissions processes remain compliant with company policies and healthcare regulations Participate in marketing, outreach, and networking activities as neededQualifications:
Previous experience in skilled nursing, healthcare admissions, case management, marketing, or related healthcare operations preferred Strong communication and relationship-building abilities Professional presentation and customer service mindset Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of Medicare, managed care, and post-acute referral processes preferred Experience working with EMR systems and healthcare documentation Strong organizational and follow-through skills If you are a motivated sales professional with a heart for healthcare and a talent for building relationships, we invite you to join our team!Job Type:
