Job Description
Admissions Nurse (RN) Opportunity
- Part Time, 24 hours per week This is a part time, 24 hour per week position working 3pm
- 11pm two shifts per week on the weekdays (Mon
- Fri) and includes an every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday) requirement. The weekend schedule is 7am
- 3pm.

https://www.pembrokehospital.com/ The Admissions RN is responsible for working collaboratively in the admissions department responding to inpatient referral requests from clinicians, patients, family members, managed care company staff, and others. The Admissions RN must answer calls entering the queue (or coming in on direct extensions) and process demographic, clinical and insurance information in a manner consistent with service excellence and that ensures efficient and effective call processing, leading to a patient admission to Pembroke Hospitals program or providing appropriate information to the caller. The Admissions RN is an adjunct to the department and is available as an immediate resource to non- clinical staff to assist them in ensuring appropriate medical screening in order to facilitate timely and expedited placement of patients within Pembroke Hospital facilities who meet admission guidelines.
