Position Overview:

MSAD 61 is seeking a dynamic educational leader to plan, develop, and implement the Adult and Community Education Programs to provide life-long learning experiences for the area communities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide leadership and direction for community education programs, The Learning Center Program, and adult vocational programs. Develop, plan, and implement programming for adults in the MSAD 61 and MSAD 72 communities. Serve as Adult Education Liaison to other agencies serving the adults of the communities. Recruit, supervise, and evaluate adult education staff. Supervise and assist in curriculum development and revision. Facilitate the Adult and Community Education Advisory Committee. Provide professional development for staff. Coordinate active public relations to enhance community awareness of current programs and to aid in the development of new programs. Supervises the attendance of students while enrolled in the high school completion program. Maintain proper student and staff records for Adult & Community Education. Prepare and submit budget proposals for Adult and Community Education. Collaborate with Lake Region High School to encourage students to seek a Lake Region High School diploma. Report to the Board to provide periodic progress reports.
