Advanced Math and Computer Science Teacher 2.8 2.8 out of 5 stars 8345 S SR 19, Akron, IN 46910 Full-time Tippecanoe Valley School Corporation 12 reviews Full-time Tippecanoe Valley High School is seeking a dedicated Advanced Mathematics & Computer Science Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. We are looking for an educator who believes in building strong relationships, challenging students academically, and contributing positively to our collaborative school culture.
Position Overview:
This full-time teaching position may include instruction in the following courses: Advanced Geometry & Computing Foundations for a Digital Age.
Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality, scaffolded math & computer science instruction aligned to Indiana Academic Standards. Use data and assessment practices to inform instruction and support student growth. Maintain a structured, positive, and engaging classroom environment. Collaborate with department colleagues and school teams to support student success and school-wide literacy goals through explicit reading instruction. Communicate effectively with students, families, and staff. All other duties assigned by school administration.
Qualifications:
o Valid Indiana Teaching License in Mathematics (or ability to obtain by start date). o Valid Indiana Teaching License, or Workplace Specialist License, in Computer Science (or ability to obtain by start date). o Strong knowledge of secondary math content and computer science concepts.
