Job Description

$1,500 sign-on bonus for all new full-time hires; bonus will be prorated for part-time hires.
Position Overview:
Grand View Lodge is looking for a skilled, guest-focused Advanced Practice Esthetician to join our Spa & Wellness team. This role blends clinical skincare expertise with the warmth and hospitality our guests come to Grand View for: think elevated treatments delivered with a resort touch. You'll perform a full range of advanced esthetic services, build genuine relationships with guests, and be part of a collaborative team that takes real pride in the experiences it creates. If you love your craft and love making people feel taken care of, this is the place for you.
About Grand View Lodge & Cote Hospitality:
For over 100 years, Cote Hospitality has crafted transformative guest experiences across world-class resorts and camps. At Grand View Lodge, that means exceptional wellness woven into a full resort lifestyle, golf, dining, events, and more, all grounded in our CoteCares culture of belonging, respect, and shared purpose. We're invested in your growth here: this role comes with real opportunity to advance and expand your skills within our spa program.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Deliver advanced esthetic services including advanced facials, HydraFacial-type treatments, chemical exfoliation, and lymphatic drainage, all within Minnesota Advanced Practice Esthetics scope. Welcome each guest with a warm, personalized greeting and conduct thorough consultations, skin analysis, contraindication review, and treatment planning tailored to their goals. Educate guests on skincare routines, product recommendations, and follow-up services that genuinely support long-term skin health. Uphold service timing standards while maintaining a calm, unhurried experience, guests should never feel rushed. Perform all services in strict compliance with Minnesota Board of Cosmetology regulations for Advanced Practice Esthetics, including infection control and scope of practice requirements. Maintain meticulous sanitation and disinfection of treatment rooms, tools, equipment, and linens between every guest. Review intake forms before each service; identify contraindications and adjust or decline services appropriately, referring to medical providers when concerns fall outside esthetic scope. Recommend retail products and add-on services in an ethical, needs-based way that genuinely serves the guest, not just the ticket. Track services, upgrades, and retail sales accurately in the point-of-sale system. Maintain active Minnesota Advanced Practice Esthetician licensure and stay current on continuing education requirements. Collaborate with massage therapists, nail technicians, and guest services staff to create a cohesive, memorable spa experience. Participate in pre-shift meetings, training, and team huddles; contribute feedback on service protocols, products, and emerging trends.
Assist with spa housekeeping tasks:
laundry, stocking, room resets, and maintain a clean, welcoming environment. This is a resort hospitality role, availability on weekends, holidays, and extended hours during peak seasons is required. Other duties as assigned.
Why you bring:
Current Minnesota Advanced Practice Esthetician license in good standing — this is required, not preferred. Completion of an approved Advanced Practice Esthetics program (typically 500 hours beyond basic esthetics or cosmetology). Strong knowledge of skin anatomy, cosmetic chemistry, advanced exfoliation techniques, and energy-based modalities within AP esthetics scope. Previous experience performing facials and advanced esthetic services in a spa, resort, clinic, or med-spa setting. A professional, polished demeanor with genuine warmth, you make guests feel at ease from the moment they arrive. 1-3+ years of advanced practice esthetics experience is a strong plus, as is experience with resort or destination spa clientele. Familiarity with HydraFacial-type devices and advanced modalities preferred. Strong retail background with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
Why join us:
You'll be part of a team that genuinely invests in its people. CoteCares isn't a tagline, it's how we show up for each other every day. You'll have the tools, support, and team culture to do your best work, with real opportunity to grow your career within our spa and resort program. #
