Job Description
Position Summary The Advisor Consultant will be part of the Advisor Care team, which focuses on relationship management, practice management consulting, and broad financial planning support for our advisor partners. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Serve as the primary point of contact for a group of our financial advisor partner firms Train new advisors on Advisory Alpha's proprietary technology, investment solutions, operational processes, and proprietary proposal tools Assist in advisor book of business transition activities for new and existing financial advisor partners Provide ongoing support acting as a liaison for advisors, coordinating with internal team members as necessary Help advisors with practice management techniques and best practices for managing multiple aspects of their business Act as the primary point of contact during all Advisor office visits, coordinate with other internal members as needed Review, finalize and submit all Advanced Planning submissions provided to Advisor Partners Support various other functions of the business as needed Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) Bachelor's Degree with an emphasis on finance, accounting, marketing, etc. Series 65 or 66 license (or willing to immediately obtain) CFP preferred (or willing to obtain within a relatively short period of time) Minimum 2 years of experience in the financial services industry (familiarity with account types, mutual funds, stocks, financial planning, etc.) Comfortable with office technology and software applications (eg: Microsoft Office products, general computer navigation, etc.) Effective communication and personal skills Self-motivated, diligent, hard-working, accountable, positive attitude Desire to be part of a flexible, team-oriented environment and contribute to the aggressive growth of a small business
