Job Description

Position Summary :
The Applied Energy Technology Corp (AETC) is seeking an experienced Shipping and Receiving Admin. Associate. The Shipping and Receiving function ensure that all incoming materials and outgoing products are accurately received, inspected, documented, stored, and shipped in accordance with company procedures, customer requirements, and applicable regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities :
The Shipping and Receiving Admin. Associate has a variety of responsibilities: Receiving Receive incoming materials, parts, and supplies from vendors and carriers. Verify shipments against purchase orders, packing slips, and delivery documentation. Inspect packages for damage, correct quantity, and part numbers. Route received materials to quality inspection, inventory, or production. Maintain traceability documentation (certificates of conformance, material certs, test reports). Label materials according to internal identification and traceability requirements. Notify purchasing and quality of discrepancies or damaged goods. Shipping Prepare customer orders for shipment according to packing lists and sales orders. Verify part numbers, quantities, and documentation prior to shipment. Package products to protect against damage and environmental conditions. Prepare shipping documentation for HAZMAT materials per DOT regulations including: o Dangerous Goods documentation (if applicable) Coordinate shipments with freight carriers, couriers, and logistics providers. Enter shipment data into the ERP system. Ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and export requirements. Inventory & Material Handling Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits. Follow FIFO / lot traceability requirements when applicable. Compliance & Quality Maintain shipping and receiving records per quality management system requirements.

  • Observes safety and security procedures; Reports potentially unsafe conditions; Uses equipment and materials properly. Required/Essential Qualifications/ Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Must be capable of qualifying and maintaining an ATF explosive handlers license. Must be a U.S. Persons as defined by ITAR (22 CFR § 120.62),
  • be lawful permanent resident (Green Card holder), or protected individuals (asylees/refugees).
Experience in manufacturing shipping/receiving warehouse operations. Computer knowledge in excel, word, or other related business software (ERP Systems). Strong understanding of inventory control and traceability. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficient workflow. Ability to interpret customer purchase orders, packing slips and shipping documents. Communications skills (both written and oral). Must be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills. Must be self-directed and be able to work well under pressure, multi-task, and meet deadlines. Problem solving skills. Essential Skills Effective Communication Organization Skills Strong Attention to Detail Subject Matter Understanding Preferred Experience 2+ years in manufacturing shipping/receiving or warehouse operations. Experience with ERP systems (Rootstock, SAP, Oracle, etc.) Education High School Diploma or Equivalent Certifications Must be capable of qualifying and maintain an ATF explosive handlers license. Forklift certification preferred Physical Demands Must be able to stand/sit for extended period of time. Operate office equipment including use of computer and keyboard. Operate Forklift Work Environment Low noise level May require wearing PPE when entering production areas. Occasionally exposed to hazardous materials Office environment Organized and controlled
