Job Description
Schwing Bioset is seeking an experienced Aftermarket Business Development & Sales Manager to grow aftermarket parts and service business within the municipal and industrial wastewater markets across North America. This role is ideal for someone with experience selling industrial equipment, aftermarket parts, mechanical systems, or service solutions who enjoys building customer relationships, traveling, and managing a territory independently. We are looking for a practical, customer-focused sales professional with strong mechanical aptitude and experience working directly with operations, maintenance teams, contractors, or municipalities. Location & Travel Must reside in Wisconsin, Minnesota, or Florida In-office when not traveling Travel required approximately 50-75% throughout North America Responsibilities Develop and grow aftermarket business including parts, service, repairs, rentals, and equipment support Manage and expand existing customer relationships within municipal and industrial accounts Conduct regular in-person customer visits, plant tours, and jobsite meetings Identify customer equipment needs and provide practical solutions Work closely with operations, engineering, and service teams to support customer requirements Prepare quotations, follow up on opportunities, and close sales Maintain strong relationships with plant managers, operators, maintenance personnel, and purchasing teams Track territory activity, customer needs, and market opportunities Represent the company professionally at customer sites and industry events Qualifications Minimum 5 years of outside sales, territory management, account management, or industrial business development experience Experience in industrial equipment, wastewater, manufacturing, pumps, conveyors, mechanical systems, or aftermarket service sales preferred Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to discuss equipment and repair solutions with customers Self-motivated with the ability to manage a territory independently Strong communication and relationship-building skills Experience working in field-based sales environments Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM systems Ability and willingness to travel extensively What We Offer Competitive base salary plus commission opportunity Company-supported travel Health, dental, and life insurance Paid Time Off (PTO) 401(k) retirement plan Stable and growing company with long-term career opportunities Why Join Schwing Bioset?
