Traveling Service Technician- must be based near Somerset, WI

Schwing Bioset is seeking a skilled and motivated Traveling Field Service Technician to join our growing team. This position is based out of Somerset, WI and supports wastewater treatment facilities throughout the United States. In this role, you will travel nationwide to customer sites to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial equipment. When not traveling, you will assist with mechanical work at our Somerset production facility. Travel Schedule Monday-Friday travel Home every weekend Typical schedule includes four weeks of travel followed by one week off Responsibilities Travel nationwide to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial equipment Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and PLC-related issues Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals Perform preventive maintenance to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime Use diagnostic tools and precision measuring instruments to identify equipment issues Communicate professionally with customers regarding repairs, timelines, and equipment performance Complete accurate service and maintenance documentation within CMMS systems Safely operate lifts and service equipment to access elevated work areas Support mechanical assembly and shop operations at the Somerset, WI facility when not traveling Qualifications Experience in industrial maintenance, manufacturing, mechanical assembly, or field service Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills Working knowledge of electrical systems, hydraulics, and PLCs Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics Welding and HVAC/R experience preferred Familiarity with diagnostic equipment and testing tools Strong communication and customer service skills Ability and willingness to travel extensively Industrial mechanic or maintenance background preferred Why Join Schwing Bioset?
