Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as an Afternoon Pre-K Teacher, where your enthusiasm and dedication will inspire young learners during their crucial developmental years. Responsibilities Develop and implement dynamic lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and Montessori methods Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment that encourages positive behavior management and supports children's emotional well-being Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote childhood development, social skills, and early intervention strategies Utilize effective classroom management techniques to maintain a structured yet flexible learning space conducive to active learning and exploration Assess individual student progress through observations and standardized testing to tailor instruction and support early learning goals Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and specialists in special education to support children's diverse needs and ensure comprehensive child welfare Incorporate curriculum development best practices to foster literacy education, toddler care, and foundational math skills while integrating teaching physical education and Montessori principles Experience Prior classroom experience working with preschool or pre-kindergarten children in a licensed childcare or daycare setting Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development theories and early intervention techniques Experience in curriculum development, lesson planning, and implementing educational activities for young learners Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, colleagues, and specialists Familiarity with classroom management strategies that promote positive behavior and child welfare Knowledge of standardized testing procedures relevant to early childhood education settings Previous private school experience or work within Montessori or similar educational frameworks is a plus Embark on a rewarding journey where your dedication transforms young minds! Pay:
