AG & Construction Mechanic - 5+ Years Experience

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of vehicles and equipment.

OBJECTIVES

• Perform basic diagnostics and repairs on primarily Kubota agricultural and construction equipment, including zero-turn mowers, small tractors, and utility vehicles
• Participate in team environment to achieve Service goals
• Maintain current knowledge of excavators, skid-loaders, wheel loaders, and hay equipment
• Promote positive and upbeat workplace, with desire for customer satisfaction

DUTIES:

• Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on ag and construction equipment, but with basic knowledge to repair homeowner, turf, and utility equipment
• Participate in service training programs for development of skills and working knowledge
• Maintain technical knowledge of AG/Construction/Small Engine Kubota equipment.
• Communicate with and receive instruction from Service Writer and/or Manager
• Complete related forms and reports associated with repair performed
• Strive to meet individual and departmental goals of efficiency and timely, correct repairs
• Maintain clean and safe working environment, with respect to co-workers
• Commitment to customer satisfaction
• Provide all necessary information on orders, with repair segmentation details listed
• Assist co-workers as needed
• Work with warranty processor, service writer, and anyone else as needed
• Travel and train as needed or requested
• Promote safety in work environment and comply with local and federal requirements
• Strive to maintain efficiency rating of at least 75%
• Subordinate to Service Manager

REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years' experience in performing service repairs
• Ability to learn and use Company software, vendor platforms, and internet
• Understand technical manuals and schematics for repairs of engine, electrical, and hydraulic issues
• Familiarity with Ag and Construction equipment
• Ability to lift at least 75 pounds, repeatedly
• Positive and enthusiastic attitude and willingness to promote upbeat and productive workplace
