In this energetic role, you will utilize your climbing skills, arborist knowledge, and safety expertise to perform tree care operations that enhance the environment and ensure public safety. Your work will involve climbing trees, rigging, pruning, and removal tasks while adhering to industry safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors daily, develop specialized skills, and contribute to community beautification projects. Duties FOREMAN drive truck / chipper, lead a crew, customers on-site communication Climb trees using ropes, harnesses, and climbing gear to access difficult or tall branches safely. Perform tree pruning, trimming, and plant care to promote healthy growth and aesthetic appeal. Execute tree removal procedures with precision using chainsaws, rigging techniques, and bucket trucks when necessary. Operate bucket trucks safely for elevated work and transport tools or personnel efficiently. Apply arborist rigging techniques to dismantle large or hazardous trees safely while minimizing impact on surrounding areas. Follow strict safety protocols during all operations to prevent accidents and ensure team safety. Collaborate with team members on complex rigging setups or emergency removals in challenging environments. Experience Foreman 5+ years in trimming. MUST have drivers license CDL a plus Climber 3+ years in tree trimming Proven outdoor work experience with a focus on tree care or landscaping is highly preferred. Hands-on experience operating chainsaws, bucket trucks, and other arborist equipment. Knowledge of arborist rigging techniques, tree removal procedures, and pruning standards. Demonstrated understanding of safety protocols related to climbing, rigging, and outdoor work environments. Growing experience in horticulture or dendrology (the study of trees) is advantageous for career development.
