Job Description

Foreman The Foreman's main focus is to direct crew members and manage equipment necessary to complete all work orders as outlined by the Sales Arborist and Client. The Foreman must be a respected leader and have the ability to complete all projects timely, efficiently and safely. The Foreman is expected to execute the company mission to
DELIGHT THE CLIENT.
The Foreman will report directly to the Operations Manager. Responsibilities
  • Meeting daily production KPIs.
  • Coordinating daily tasks according to priorities and work orders/plans, based on provided schedule for the day, hitting required productivity metrics.
  • Delegating individual responsibilities and projects to crew members as needed.
  • Directly communicating with the client. Keeping the client professionally informed beginning upon arrival to the client's home or job site and ending with an in-person or verbal communication follow-up of what the client can accurately expect next before departing.
  • Training, managing, and mentoring crew members.
  • Emphasizing safe use of tools, machinery, and equipment while providing training on safety gear, helmets, and procedures as directed by the Field Safety Manager.
  • Ensuring the quality standards for all sites and work completed.
  • Resolving conflicts or miscommunications quickly and amicably between crew members.
  • Regularly reporting project status to managers, schedulers, or sales team members as required.
  • Demonstrates knowledge in and execution of: o Pruning principles and techniques o Tree identification and basic tree biology o Understanding work orders and plans o Job briefings o Basic knots and rope operation for rigging, and cabling and bracing o Chipper use and safety o General work site safety including, electrical hazards training, emergency procedures, and hazard recognition, and the selection and use of appropriate PPE at all times Qualifications • Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Foreman/Crew Leader in the tree or construction industry.
  • Proficient in basic tree cutting methods, both in the tree and on the ground, as well as climbing. Thorough knowledge of proper pruning techniques (natural and directional pruning) is essential.
  • Extensive knowledge of arial lift equipment and hydraulic cranes.
  • Excellent physical fitness and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks in diverse weather conditions.
  • Self-motivated, with great attention to detail and a strong work ethic, taking pride in delivering high-quality work.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, communication skills, and a steadfast commitment to safety protocols.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with high professionalism.
  • Valid driver's license with excellent driving record.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds or more.
Earning potential up to $120,000 per year with company bonus incentives offered.
