Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious Bucket Truck Operator to join our outdoor maintenance and tree care team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating bucket trucks to perform essential tasks such as tree trimming, pruning, and landscape maintenance. Your expertise will ensure that all work is completed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with industry standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, develop specialized skills in arborist rigging techniques, and contribute to the health and aesthetics of urban and rural landscapes. Duties Safely operate bucket trucks to access elevated work areas for tree trimming, pruning, and landscape maintenance Perform rigging and climbing techniques to facilitate tree removal or pruning projects, ensuring safety protocols are strictly followed Use chainsaws and other horticultural tools to cut branches, remove trees, or perform plant care activities Apply arborist rigging techniques for safe and efficient tree removal or limb management Conduct plant pruning care, tree trimming, and landscape maintenance tasks to promote healthy growth and aesthetic appeal Assist with land clearing, lawn care, and general landscaping duties as needed Follow safety protocols diligently during all operations to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with OSHA standards Requirements Proven outdoor work experience with a focus on horticulture, landscaping, or tree care Experience operating bucket trucks and familiarity with rigging equipment used in arboriculture Ability to handle chainsaws safely and effectively for tree removal or pruning tasks Strong understanding of arborist rigging techniques, tree care practices, and plant pruning methods Familiarity with safety procedures related to working at heights and operating heavy equipment Growing experience in landscaping or horticulture fields is highly desirable Excellent physical condition with the ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions Join us if you're eager to grow your skills in a dynamic outdoor environment!
