Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Lawn Maintenance worker to join our team and assist with a variety of outdoor landscaping and maintenance projects. This role involves working in diverse environments to create and maintain beautiful, functional outdoor spaces. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work, possess relevant skills, and be committed to safety and quality. Prior experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or construction is a plus, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in horticulture, hardscape installation, and equipment operation. Responsibilities Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, planting, and pruning trees and shrubs Operate hand tools, power tools, and small machinery such as excavators and irrigation systems Perform lawn care duties such as aeration, fertilization, and weed Support tree care activities including trimming, planting, and removal Maintain cleanliness of work sites by removing debris and ensuring safety protocols are followed Assist with general construction tasks related to landscape Qualifications Prior experience or knowledge in landscaping, lawn care, or horticulture is preferred but not required Mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment and hand tools is a plus Familiarity with landscape maintenance practices including mowing, gardening, tree care, and hardscape installation is desirable Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively Experience with excavation equipment such as excavators is beneficial Strong work ethic with the ability to perform physically demanding tasks outdoors in various weather conditions Knowledge of safety procedures related to construction and landscaping work Ability to work independently or as part of a team to complete projects efficiently Valid driver's license is preferred for equipment operation or site access purposes This position provides an excellent platform for individuals interested in developing a career in landscaping or outdoor maintenance while contributing to the beautification of outdoor spaces.
