Groundsperson (Entry-Level Arborist) No experience required—just the willingness to work and the desire to learn. At Wellnitz Tree Care, we are committed to developing our people. This role is your starting point to learn all aspects of arboriculture and build a career in the industry. What You'll Do Assist arborists with pruning and removal work Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite Operate equipment such as wood chippers, stump grinders, and chainsaws (with training) Manage debris and support overall crew production What We're Looking For Strong work ethic and reliability Willingness to work in a physically demanding, outdoor environment Ability to follow direction and work as part of a team Desire to learn and improve Growth & Opportunity We provide a clear path forward: Hands-on training in all aspects of tree care Structured development programs Opportunity to advance into climber and crew leader roles This is a labor-intensive job—you should expect to go home each day feeling like you accomplished something.
