Crew Leader, Arborist

Crew Leader / Arborist Crew Leader Wichita Tree Service is hiring an experienced Crew Leader to help run a professional tree crew in the Wichita area. We are looking for someone with strong tree work experience, good leadership skills, and the ability to keep a crew safe, productive, and organized. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 6 years of tree care experience and previous experience leading or helping lead a crew. ISA Certified Arborists, CDL holders, and experienced climbers are strongly preferred, but we are willing to consider the right person if they have the work ethic, skill, and leadership ability to grow with our company.

Responsibilities include:

Leading a tree crew safely and efficiently Performing and overseeing tree removals, pruning, rigging, cleanup, and jobsite organization Operating or helping operate bucket trucks, aerial lifts, skid steers, mini skid steers, and trailers Climbing when needed Communicating with customers, sales staff, and management Making sure work is completed safely, professionally, and to company standards Helping train crew members and hold the crew accountable Preferred qualifications: 3 to 6 years of tree care experience Climbing experience Experience running or helping run a tree crew ISA Certified Arborist or willingness to become certified CDL or willingness to obtain a CDL Experience with bucket trucks, lifts, skid steers, mini skid steers, and trailer operation Strong understanding of safe rigging, pruning, removals, and jobsite setup Ability to work hard, communicate well, and lead by example Wichita Tree Service is focused on safety, proper tree care, and building one of the best tree service teams in the region.
