Job Description
Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Landscape Laborer and be a vital part of transforming outdoor spaces into beautiful, functional environments! In this energetic role, you'll assist with a variety of landscaping tasks, contributing to the maintenance and enhancement of residential, commercial, and public landscapes. Whether you're working on planting, hardscape installation, or seasonal clean-up, your efforts will help create inviting outdoor areas that clients love. This paid position offers hands-on experience in landscape maintenance and construction, perfect for those passionate about horticulture and outdoor work. Duties Assist with landscape installation including planting trees, shrubs, flowers, and installing hardscape features such as patios and walkways Operate hand tools and power tools safely to perform mowing, trimming, edging, and general maintenance tasks Support irrigation system installation and repairs to ensure healthy plant growth and water efficiency Perform lawn care duties such as mowing, fertilizing, aerating, and weed control to maintain pristine turf conditions Conduct landscape maintenance including pruning trees and shrubs, mulching beds, and snow plowing during winter months Use excavation equipment like mini-excavators for site preparation or drainage work under supervision Support tree care activities including trimming, removal, and health assessments to promote safety and aesthetic appeal Qualifications Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in landscaping and construction Experience or interest in lawn care, gardening, horticulture or landscape maintenance is preferred Ability to operate equipment such as excavators or snow plows is a plus but not required; training will be provided Knowledge of landscaping techniques including hardscape installation and tree trimming is advantageous Strong work ethic with the ability to follow safety procedures diligently Physical stamina to perform outdoor labor in various weather conditions for extended periods Willingness to learn new skills related to irrigation systems, tree care, or other specialized landscape tasks This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to develop their skills in landscaping while contributing to beautiful outdoor environments.
