Headquartered in Wheeling, Ill., The Care of Trees® is an award-winning business that provides total tree care for residential, commercial, institutional and municipal properties. We are seeking a talented Arborist that loves building solid relationships with clients while growing and maintaining a solid book of business in this prime designated territory.
The successful Arborist will be involved in surveying top commercial and residential properties, handling proposal requests from clients, performing site inspections, and identifying tree and plant health care needs. Also be responsible for developing and maintaining long-term relationships with clients, including consulting with new and existing clients on any tree and/or plant health care concerns. Manage a prime geographic territory of clients, service their needs while creatively building a solid book of business.
The ideal Arborist must be able to successfully determine proper and realistic sales methods to meet sales goals, generate new business development through creative marketing techniques and sales promotional materials. Arborist will be experienced with any safety hazards, tree ID & evaluation, Integrated Pest Management, diagnosis of tree or shrub disease and disorders. Have the ability to estimate time and cost for crews to perform tree removal, pruning, cabling, and all other tree care services. Have the ability to develop and build excellent rapport with clients and overcome objections easily. Represent The Care of Trees at various trade shows, community events, and at industry affiliated seminars.

Requirements:
Arborist CertificationMinimum 3 years of plant and tree service experienceMust have or obtain valid CDL licenseExcellent verbal and written communication skills with both internal and external clientsProven sales experience w defined sales goals were met within given time periodsExcellent multi-tasking and organizational skillsAdvanced knowledge, terms and familiarity of plant health care products, accurate diagnosis, and services2 or 4 year degree preferred within Arboriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Landscaping or Environmental DesignMust be proficient and effective in pricing and proposal preparationWill be responsible for accomplishing required sales goals within a given territory assignedRelocation available along with a great list of benefits from a company that cares about you!The Care of Trees is an Equal Opportunity Employer
