Overview Join our dynamic team as a Landscape Laborer and play a vital role in creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces! This energetic position offers the opportunity to work outdoors, utilizing your skills in landscape maintenance, gardening, and construction to transform landscapes into vibrant, functional environments. Whether you're trimming trees, installing hardscapes, or caring for lawns, your efforts will directly contribute to enhancing the beauty and health of our clients' properties. This paid position welcomes motivated individuals eager to develop their skills in horticulture, landscaping, and outdoor maintenance. Responsibilities Assist with landscape installation and maintenance projects, including planting, mulching, and soil preparation Operate hand tools and power tools safely to perform tasks such as mowing, edging, trimming, and pruning Maintain lawns through mowing, aeration, fertilization, and weed control to ensure lush, healthy turf Support tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and planting using appropriate equipment like chainsaws and tree spades Help install and repair irrigation systems to ensure efficient watering of landscapes Perform hardscape work such as laying pavers, retaining walls, or pathways under supervision Conduct snow plowing operations during winter months to keep properties accessible and safe during inclement weather Requirements Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in landscaping and construction Experience or interest in lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture Ability to operate equipment such as excavators or other small machinery is a plus but not required; training will be provided Strong work ethic with attention to safety procedures when handling tools and machinery Willingness to learn about tree care practices including trimming and planting techniques Ability to perform physically demanding tasks outdoors in various weather conditions Prior experience in landscaping or construction is advantageous but not mandatory; a positive attitude and eagerness to learn are essential Embark on a rewarding career path where your hands-on skills make a real impact!
