In this role, you will utilize your climbing skills, arborist rigging techniques, and horticultural knowledge to safely prune, remove, and care for trees in diverse outdoor environments. Willing to train the right candidate to grow into any role! Responsibilities Driving trucks and trailers Chipper and small machine operation Chainsaw use including: felling, limbing, bucking and saw use at height Safely ascend trees using climbing gear and arborist rigging techniques to perform pruning, trimming, or removal tasks. Operate bucket trucks and bucket lifts to access elevated work areas efficiently and securely. Execute tree removal projects with precision, including rigging and dismantling large or hazardous trees. Apply pruning best practices to promote healthy growth and aesthetic appeal. Use chainsaws and other hand tools responsibly for cutting, shaping, or removing branches and trees. Follow strict safety protocols during all operations to protect yourself, team members, clients, and the environment. Skills Proficient with safe chainsaw use and chipper use Familiar with arborist rigging techniques for safe climbing and tree removal Familiar with bucket operation for elevated work tasks in tree care Knowledge of tree care practices including pruning, trimming, planting, and disease management. Ability to perform outdoor work in varying weather conditions with physical endurance. Strong understanding of safety protocols related to climbing, rigging, bucket operation, and equipment use. This role is perfect for motivated individuals passionate about outdoor work and developing a specialized skill set in arboriculture. ISA certified arborist is a desirable certificate for a candidate
Pay:
$25.00 - $42.00 per hour
