Immediate (Seasonal work through January 2025, with year-round opportunities) About Brighthouse Solutions Brighthouse Solutions is Austin's premier provider of stunning holiday light displays, dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service and the best-looking Christmas light installations in the area. As we expand our operations in Austin and Bee Cave, we're seeking safety-conscious and motivated individuals to join our field crews as Residential Light Hangers. This is a seasonal role with the potential to transition into a full-time position with our sister company, Reliant Pest Management, at the end of the season. Job Description We are looking for reliable and detail-oriented Residential Light Hangers to install and maintain holiday lighting displays on residential properties. This temporary position runs through approximately January 28, 2027, with top performers eligible for a year-round role in pest control services. If you enjoy working outdoors, have a knack for heights, and take pride in creating festive displays, this is the job for you!Key Responsibilities:
- Safely install holiday lights and decorations on residential rooftops and exteriors, following company safety protocols.
- Collaborate with the field crew to ensure timely and high-quality completion of lighting projects.
- Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting of lighting systems during the season.
- Adhere to schedules and meet customer expectations for light installation and removal.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including proper storage of tools and materials.
- For top performers: Transition to Reliant Pest Management for year-round employment, including pest control services and customer support (training provided).
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working at heights (e.g., roofing, construction) is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs and climb ladders or scaffolding.
- Reliable transportation to job sites in Austin and Bee Cave areas.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
- No fear of heights and good physical fitness.
