Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Stump Grinder and play a vital role in maintaining safe, attractive, and healthy outdoor environments. In this energetic position, you will operate specialized equipment to efficiently grind and remove tree stumps, contributing to landscaping projects, land clearing, and site beautification. Your expertise will help ensure the safety of work sites while supporting the growth and health of surrounding trees and plants. Duties Operate stump grinding machinery safely and effectively to remove tree stumps from various terrains. Use rigging techniques to secure equipment and materials during operations. Perform bucket truck operations for tree trimming, pruning, or accessing hard-to-reach areas. Assist with landscape maintenance tasks such as lawn care, planting, and general site cleanup. Support tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and planting to promote healthy growth. Conduct site assessments using GIS (Geographic Information Systems) tools for mapping and planning purposes. Maintain equipment by performing routine inspections, cleaning, and minor repairs to ensure optimal performance. Follow safety protocols diligently and wear appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) at all times. Experience Previous experience operating stump grinders or similar landscaping equipment preferred Basic knowledge of rigging techniques for lifting and securing heavy loads. Familiarity with bucket trucks or bucket operation is a plus. Hands-on experience in tree care, trimming, or landscape maintenance enhances your fit for this role. Growing experience in horticulture or related fields demonstrates your commitment to plant health and landscape aesthetics. Strong interest in lawn care, landscaping, or arboriculture with a desire to expand your skills in tree trimming and land management.
