We take pride in high-quality landscape care, safety, and building strong, reliable teams. Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Pruning Technician to join our team. This role focuses on maintaining the health, safety, and appearance of trees and shrubs across commercial properties. The ideal candidate has experience with pruning techniques and enjoys working outdoors in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Perform pruning of trees, shrubs, and ornamental plants according to industry standards Identify and remove dead, damaged, or hazardous branches Shape plants for health, structure, and aesthetics Safely operate pruning tools and equipment (hand tools, pole saws, chainsaws, etc.) Follow all safety procedures, including proper PPE use Assist with general landscape maintenance when needed Communicate with crew leaders and managers regarding site needs and plant health Qualifications 1+ year of pruning or landscape maintenance experience preferred Knowledge of proper pruning techniques and plant care Ability to safely operate landscaping equipment and tools Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred Ability to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions Strong work ethic and attention to detail Preferred (Not Required) Experience with commercial properties Knowledge of tree species and seasonal pruning practices Chainsaw experience or certification Benefits Competitive hourly pay based on experience Full-time, year-round work (including winter projects/snow work) Opportunities for growth and advancement Training and certifications provided Supportive team environment
