Position Summary The Tractor Operator is responsible for safely operating tractors and agricultural equipment for spraying and other agricultural activities. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-conscious, mechanically inclined, and able to work efficiently in outdoor conditions. Responsibilities Safely operate tractors and various agricultural implements and equipment Safely transport agriculture equipment between locations Working with technology based equipment a plus Operating thinning and weeding implements a plus Perform field work including spraying and hauling Conduct daily equipment inspections and basic preventative maintenance Report equipment issues or repair needs promptly Maintain accurate records of field activities and equipment use Follow all company safety procedures and agricultural compliance standards Assist with product demonstrations Work effectively with supervisors and field crews Maintain cleanliness and organization of equipment and work areas Qualifications Previous tractor or agricultural equipment operating experience required Current Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required Ability to safely operate agriculture machinery in varying field conditions Basic mechanical knowledge required Strong work ethic and reliability Ability to follow instructions and work independently Valid driver's license required Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus Physical Requirements Ability to sit and operate equipment for extended periods Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally Ability to work outdoors in heat, cold, dust, and uneven terrain Ability to work overtime and weekends during peak seasons as needed
