This HYBRID position is intended for individuals who can consistently produce fast, boutique-quality hand trims and perform precision deleafing to support plant health and maximize harvest quality. This position is responsible for hand trimming harvested cannabis flower to premium, dispensary-ready standards and removing excess fan leaves from live cannabis plants while complying with all company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and California cannabis regulations. Applicants must be able to work efficiently without sacrificing quality and take pride in producing top-shelf cannabis. This position is also responsible for de-leafing all grow rooms correctly and on schedule to optimize production. Responsibilities Trimming & Post-Harvest Hand trim harvested cannabis flower to boutique, top-shelf quality standards. Remove excess fan leaves, sugar leaves, stems, and other unwanted plant material while preserving trichome integrity. Produce clean, uniform, dispensary-ready flower with exceptional attention to detail. Maintain a fast, consistent trimming pace while meeting daily production goals. Sort flower according to company quality specifications. Inspect flower for mold, mildew, pests, seeds, or other contamination. Handle cannabis carefully to minimize damage and preserve appearance, structure, and potency. Maintain accurate production and weight records. Properly package and label finished product as directed. Dispose of cannabis waste according to company procedures. Assist with bucking, weighing, post-harvest processing, and other cultivation duties as assigned. Deleafing Remove excess fan leaves from live cannabis plants according to company cultivation standards. Improve airflow, light penetration, and overall plant health through proper deleafing techniques. Handle live plants carefully to prevent damage or contamination. Identify and report pests, mold, mildew, nutrient deficiencies, or other plant health concerns. Maintain clean and sanitized work areas throughout cultivation activities. General Responsibilities Follow all company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety policies, and California cannabis regulations. Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE). Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized workstation. Work efficiently while consistently meeting production and quality expectations. Perform additional cultivation or post-harvest duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous commercial cannabis trimming experience is required. Previous commercial cannabis deleafing or cultivation experience is preferred. Must be an exceptionally fast hand trimmer while consistently maintaining premium quality standards. Must be capable of trimming boutique, top-shelf cannabis flower with meticulous attention to detail. Ability to safely and efficiently deleaf live cannabis plants without damaging plant structure. Ability to consistently produce clean, uniform, premium-quality flower. Strong attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship. Excellent hand dexterity and ability to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable transportation and dependable attendance. Must be at least 21 years of age. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Physical Requirements Ability to work in grow rooms with high humidity, elevated temperatures, and bright horticultural lighting for extended periods. Ability to sit or stand for extended periods. Perform repetitive hand movements throughout the workday. Frequently bend, kneel, twist, and reach. Lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Comfortable working in cultivation and post-harvest environments with cannabis plants, pollen, and cultivation odors.

Pay:

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
