Job Description

Job Overview Join our dynamic agricultural team as a Farm Land Laborer, where you will play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing farm operations. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work outdoors in a fast-paced environment, supporting various farming activities that promote healthy crops, livestock, and sustainable land management. Your hands-on approach and mechanical aptitude will contribute directly to the success of our agricultural endeavors, ensuring the land and animals are cared for with precision and dedication. Responsibilities Assist with planting, cultivating, irrigating, and harvesting crops using farm machinery and hand tools. Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment such as tractors, irrigation systems, and other heavy machinery. Support animal husbandry activities including feeding, watering, grooming, and general animal care for livestock and equine animals. Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts and power tools safely to move supplies, feed, or equipment around the farm. Conduct inspections of farm infrastructure including fences, greenhouses, and irrigation systems to ensure optimal operation. Handle livestock with care, ensuring proper animal handling techniques are followed to promote health and safety. Assist in welding or equipment repair tasks as needed to maintain operational efficiency. Support growing activities in greenhouses or outdoor fields by planting, pruning, or transplanting crops. Maintain accurate records of farm activities including planting schedules, animal health logs, and maintenance reports. Follow safety protocols diligently during all tasks involving heavy lifting or operation of heavy machinery. Experience Prior supervising experience in an agricultural or farm setting is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential. Mechanical knowledge related to farm machinery repair and maintenance is highly valued. Hands-on experience with animal husbandry and animal handling techniques is desirable. Familiarity with operating forklifts, power tools, hand tools, and other heavy equipment enhances your effectiveness on the job. Experience working with irrigation systems, greenhouse environments, or horticulture practices is a plus. Basic math skills are necessary for measuring inputs and managing inventory accurately. Demonstrated ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as heavy lifting and long hours outdoors is important for success in this role. Join us in cultivating a thriving farm environment!
